- 1 ready made flan case
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 red pepper, sliced
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 150ml single cream
- 60g cheese, grated
- salt and pepper to season
Directions for Onion and Pepper Tart
- Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the onion until soft but not browned. Add the pepper and cook for 5 minutes, then spread the mixture into the flan case.
- Mix the eggs, cream and cheese together and season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Pour over the flan and bake in a preheated oven at 200 C / Gas 6 for 30 minutes until set and risen.
