Onion and Pepper Tart



Serves : 4

  • 1 ready made flan case
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 red pepper, sliced
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 150ml single cream
  • 60g cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper to season

Directions for Onion and Pepper Tart

  • Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the onion until soft but not browned. Add the pepper and cook for 5 minutes, then spread the mixture into the flan case.
  • Mix the eggs, cream and cheese together and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Pour over the flan and bake in a preheated oven at 200 C / Gas 6 for 30 minutes until set and risen.
