Serves : 6
- 200g butter, softened
- 225g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 55g cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- 225g plain flour
- 2 apples, peeled and chopped
Directions to make the Sticky apple and chocolate cake
- Cream together the butter and sugar. Add eggs, mixing after each addition. Add remaining ingredients until mixture is smooth, adding 1 at a time.
- Place mixture in tin and bake for 1 hour at 160 C / Gas 3.
